著名作詞人林夕曾經這樣讚賞她：

她是給陳奕迅、蔡依林、鄭秀文、劉德華、以及張學友都寫過歌的人，
她四度榮獲商業電台叱咤樂壇頒獎典禮「叱咤樂壇唱作人金獎」，多次榮獲IFPI香港唱片銷售獎「十大銷售本地歌手」，兩度奪下香港電影金像獎「最佳女配角」，
是唱作歌手、電影演員、舞台劇演員、藝術創作者… 在不同身分之間遊走變換，她游刃有餘。
2004年，歌神張學友邀請她當演唱會嘉賓，合唱了作給張學友的《我真的受傷了》，對著成千上萬的觀眾推薦她：
“請你記住這個名字” ，她就是 “王菀之”。
時隔多年再次來到加拿大，以「初回限定」為主題，希望用音樂與粉絲分享她入行19年的人生感受，她把自己所熱愛的音樂、值得分享的生活感悟都藏在精心準備的歌單裡，和粉絲一起度過獨特且珍貴的限定春日。

The famous lyricist Lin Xi once praised her:

She has written songs for Eason Chan, Jolin Tsai, Sammi Cheng, Andy Lau, and Jacky Cheung.
She has won four-times of “Gold Singer-Song-Writer Award” at the Commercial Radio Annual Award, “Top Ten Album Sales Award” multiple times at the IFPI Hong Kong Record Award and won twice of “Best Supporting Actress” at the Hong Kong Film Award.
She is a singer-songwriter, film actress, stage actor, and art creator...
In 2004, Asian super star Jacky Cheung invited her to perform at his concert and sang a song "I'm Really Hurt" together, which was written by Ivana for Jacky Cheung. She was praised by Jacky to tens of thousands in the audience:
"You must remember this name", she is Ivana Wong.
After many years, Ivana will come to Canada again with the theme of "First Return”, she hopes to share her 19 years’ experience in the music industry with her music to the fans and spend a unique and precious spring day together.
